Autodesk

A student license for use of AutoDesk products on a personally-owned device is available to all UGA students from the Autodesk Education website.  The Education plan license gives eligible students free one-year, single-user access to Autodesk software.  Access to a student license requires the student to renew annually, and is available as long as you are eligible. 

To obtain access, you must first create an AutoDesk Education account using your UGA email address:

• Go to the Autodesk website
• Scroll down to the section “Autodesk for students: getting started”
• Click the “Select product” button.
• Choose the needed product, and click the “Select” button.
• On the ensuing page, under Student, click “Select” and then “Continue”.
• Complete the form fields under each of the 4 Steps to create your AutoDesk Educational account, and click “Submit”.
• AutoDesk may require additional information and include a verification check against the information entered to confirm your eligibility. Note that this process can take up to 7 days.
• A verification email from AutoDesk will be sent that requires you to respond to.
• Once you receive your account information, return to the website and log in at the top right corner of the page.  Once verified and authenticated, you will be able to download the needed software.

AutoDesk products are also available on the College of Engineering lab computers via the Citrix Workspace application, or through the College of Engineering’s virtual computer lab called MyLab.  MyLab can be accessed at https://mylab.engr.uga.edu (note – you must be a current student in the College of Engineering to access MyLab. MyLab also requires your Duo app on your phone)
